Great location and friendly staff

I had a lovely stay with my family, enjoying the river views and the hotel's proximity to the high street for local shopping. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, and the breakfast, especially the pancakes for my little one, was a highlight of our mornings.

Characterful and stylish accommodations

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with our large family. The kids loved exploring the newly landscaped courtyard, which was perfect for some family bonding and laughter. Our spacious family room was clean, and the breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of options to please everyone.

In my wife’s opinion, having more activities for kids would be great.

Comfortable bed, warm receptionist, who offered great hospitality and made check-in a breeze. Convenient location just a 10-minute walk from the rail station allows for easy access to surrounding cities.

Nothing, all was good

I had a pretty good stay here. The location is perfect with ample parking, and I scored a spacious upgrade to a suite with a beautiful view of the river. Plus, you can chill in the outdoor garden area by the bar, which is a nice touch for relaxing after a long drive.

the hotel is nice n easy to find with loads of parking. staff were friendly n check in was quick. the superior single room was clean n the bathroom was lovely. breakfast was better than last time, really enjoyed it.

but the tv didn't work n there shoulda been more chairs in the room. also, it was a bit noisy at night.

The room was spacious, and the shower was top-notch! Free parking was a perk. The bed felt comfy enough for a good night’s sleep. Just wished some of the decor wasn't a bit dated, and the bathroom could use a refresh, but it was clean overall. Not many complaints aside from that!

I loved the cozy Superior Single Room, and the free tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch! After a day of exploring, I enjoyed some downtime in the relaxing garden area and common lounge. Just a heads up, the traffic noise outside can be a bit loud at night, but overall, I had a great stay! 😊

Unfortunately, the lack of a functioning restaurant and closed pub left dining options severely limited. the only bar service ended at 9:30 PM. The breakfast setup appeared hasty, with the cooked items lacking freshness. The room's condition raised some concerns, with reports of mustiness and stained bedding making it less than ideal. Accessibility to certain areas was cumbersome, especially with the main hotel door locked late at night, forcing guests to navigate dark pathways. while there were redeeming qualities, several shortcomings hindered a more enjoyable experience.

I had an absolutely delightful stay! The riverside views from my Superior Double Room were breathtaking, making mornings feel special. Plus, the outdoor seating areas offered an idyllic spot to unwind with a good book. 🌊📖

Couple's not-so-great getaway

Room was fine, comfy bed and a decent bathroom. The view over the river was a real treat, made it feel a bit special even if the overall experience lacked.

It wasn’t cheap, but it's still acceptable for the location and view.
